The Lahore High Court had granted bail to PTI activist Taiba Raja in the Jinnah House attack case

Lahore - Tehreek-e-Insaf female activist Tayyaba Raja was released. According to the details, a message released by Tehreek-e-Insaf on the social media website X (formerly Twitter) has stated that female activist Tayyaba Raja has been released after being kept in prison for 10 months.

According to media reports, the Lahore High Court on Friday granted bail to PTI activist Tayyaba Raja in the Jinnah House attack case.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Alia Neelam heard the petition filed for the release of Tayyaba Raja, Barrister Khadija Siddiqui and Advocate Murad Khan Marwat appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner. It was argued in the petition that Tayyaba Raja was not named in the FIR, on the basis of a tweet, Tayyaba Raja was named in the case, the court should grant Tayyaba Raja's post-arrest bail application. After the arguments of the petitioner's lawyers, the two-judge bench allowed the petition and granted bail to Tayyaba Raja and ordered her release.
