Taylor Swift offers condolences to KC Chiefs parade shooting victim
At least two people were killed and more than twenty injured in the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade.
Taylor Swift has spoken out about the Super Bowl parade shooting.
The international pop star expressed his condolences and donated $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan – one of the two victims of the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade.
The Love Story songstress donated $50,000 in two installments to Lopez-Galvan's GoFundMe page.
Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift," they wrote in the accompanying message.
The fundraiser was set up by Lopez-Galvan's family, and has more than doubled its goal with $176,000 so far.
The description reads, "Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl Victory Parade when she was senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and a husband of 22 years. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter to many. , sister, aunt, cousin and friend. We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life.
Meanwhile, Grammy-winning Super Bowl champion boyfriend Travis Kelce has also made a statement.
